Park Slope is overwrought with gross uninspired chinese restaurants. Szechuan Delight is perhaps the WORST of them. Go to Mr. Wonton or Hunan Delight instead.

Best Chinese food in Park Slope. Nothing quite beats takeout from here on cold a winter night. The Lo mein noodles are to die for.

To be fair I have to wonder if this is a restaurant that has fallen on its own sword. This part of Park Slope is the most banal, bland and monied part of Brooklyn and I can't imagine most of the locals, with their albino spouses and reality-free kids, really wanting authentically dynamic Szechuan fare. And that's probably why the food here is pretty banal, bland and almost completely non-Szechuan. The room is nice, the service is swift and the prices - at lunch - are very good. But the food is blah.Blah soup. Blah rice. Blah entree. Huge portion, where I saved half for lunch tomorrow, but it's too blah to call my name and cheat.Of the 20 or so Chinese places to eat near Park Slope, I've tried them all and now believe there are just 3 worthy of anyone's time. This isn't one of them, unless you have kids, a nanny and grandma to feed an can't have anything too spicy or flavorful. Then please go here and stay here.

One full hour to deliver literally a couple blocks down the road. And then, the worst sesame chicken I've ever had. I just couldn't eat more than a couple of bites.I think this place might qualify as the worst Chinese I've ever had in New York.

If you like excellent service, food, and atmosphere then this is the place for you. If you like being somewhat fruity and a fancy-pants, go elsewhere. The Ramones weren't from Brooklyn for a reason.

Reliably good New York-style Chinese food. Favorites include the chicken with broccoli with white sauce and the broccoli with fresh garlic. My go-to spot in the neighborhood.Ignore any review of Szechuan Delight that references the General Tso's Chicken. It's not very good here, but then again there's practically no such thing as good General Tso's. The dish is engineered to be sweet and fried, specifically to appeal to the worst in American palates.

This handy local Chinese spot is serviceable, if generic, with low prices, reliable delivery, and hundreds of choices. Despite the name, the menu covers not only Szechuan dishes, but Cantonese, Hunan, and even Americanized items ...?

While we're still fans of Hunan, Szechuan Delight is our new favorite Chinese delivery place. The food is way above average, the prices are average and the combo specials (available for dinner) are great. Fave dishes: egg drop soup ...?

The food is fantastic, it's delivered quickly and always hot. The staff is the friendliest group of people I have ever ordered Chinese food from. I love this place!
